Perched high on Llandudno’s stunning Great Orme, Great Orme Golf is a historic site reborn and transformed. This accessible 9-hole Pitch & Putt has been a beloved part of the Orme’s leisure history since the 1950s, entertaining generations of visitors. After sitting closed for four years, the full restoration began in August 2024.
This mission is led by a dedicated Community Interest Company (CIC), brought to life through the unwavering dedication of locals, Robin Hughes and Tanya Meerally.
Our course is a redesigned 9-hole Pitch & Putt, featuring holes ranging from 40 to 81 yards. This format is perfect for families, beginners, and experienced players looking to sharpen their short game while enjoying spectacular views.
The initial restoration journey involved immense challenges, but this intense effort led us to reimagine the course for maximum resilience and year-round playability.
We are thrilled to announce significant improvements across the site, moving far beyond the early restoration phase.

Year-Round Play: Thanks to dedicated drainage work, our greens are now draining exceptionally well, and our new all-weather tees guarantee you can play even through the challenging winter months.
